I wanted to go to a reaalllly good culinary school, maybe out of america, but after just looking at the Baltimore International college, the closest place to me, they require to years of college first. Is that what i have to do, what if you dont want to waste your time going to school
Top Answer: well for one, there is no such thing as wasting time going to school. that is RIDICULOUS! there is obviously a reason why they want you to go to school for a couple of years, and if you dont understand that then there is no way you will be able to get into a culinary arts school. they may want to see that you are dedicated to your work and earn your associates degree. if you really really wanted to go to culinary arts school, not completing two years of college wouldnt even be in consideration. even if its just a community college, just do it.

Im looking into several culinary schools at the moment. Baltimore International College seems like a great fit for me but Ive gotten mixed reviews. Has anyone attended there?
Top Answer: hello....i myself attended balimore college from 1999 to 2001. i took up cooking and baking. i can tell you know not to go. once you finish and expect to graduate they are going to make up reasons why you cant graduate and then make you spend more money. they never have enough externships available and you even if you finish your externship and make good grades and expect to get you degree they will call you to the office and swear you owe more money and make you pay before you get your degree or even your transcripts.....If you have rich parents i say go for it. but if you dont have unlitmited funds....pick a better college. now i cant down them and not give you better schools so here is my list of the best schools to attend for culinary.
1. The Culinary Institute of America
2. The French Culinary Institute of New York City
3. Ottawa Culinary Arts Institute

I was originally going to go with computer science for programming but I would really rather go for the path of design instead. Unfortunately I havent found much reference for this field, and thus I dont know what major I should choose.
Top Answer: There are an increasing number of schools offering programs in computer game design. Some offer an actual major, some offer it as a concentration within their computer science program. Here are some great resources to help you get started with your search.
The International Games Developers Association has a great student resource page that includes articles about what to look for in a program, how to break into the industry, and some links to specific programs:
These are two good sites for learning more about the industry:
And, finally, heres a list of colleges that have some sort of game design program. If you work your way through the list, looking at the programs offered at each school, youll quickly get a sense of what is available and start to narrow down where your interests lie. The list may be incomplete as new programs seem to open irly regularly.
